I am a lifetime platinum flier and United and they've had their ups and downs (get it?). But they had a major announcement this morning. They are outfitting over 1,000 planes with Starlink making real high-speed connectivity available almost anywhere on the planet at 35,000 feet. Looks like this will take about a year to start and about three years to complete.

Yes, that is useful but you have to fly United as well as eat its food to use Starlink
