This should be interesting. This arrived today in my inbox.

In the coming days, you may receive an email inviting you to take an online survey about the Penn State Alumni Association. This survey is part of a study the Alumni Association is conducting with SimpsonScarborough, a higher education research agency. Our goal is to gauge overall awareness and perception of the Penn State Alumni Association. The results will help the Alumni Association enhance our services and support of the University and alumni.

The email with the link to the survey will come from SimpsonScarborough@research.simpsonscarborough.com. Your responses will be submitted directly to SimpsonScarborough and will be kept strictly confidential. If you have questions, please reach out to surveyresearch@simpsonscarborough.com.

The survey should take 10–12 minutes to complete, and as a thank-you for your feedback, you will be invited to enter a drawing to win one of four $500 gift cards.

If you do not receive the invite and would like to complete the survey please reach out to alumni-support@psu.edu.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to share your opinions. Your input is valuable and will help strengthen Penn State's alumni community.

For the Glory,

The Penn State Alumni Association

My guess is that this survey will 'conclude' they should stop mailing out the Penn Stater.

Probably also that they need another board seat.

I hear that there will be a qualification process on whether or not they use the data from an alumni’s survey. I am sure I will be disqualified

It amazes me that at a place with so many resources, they can’t do anything without hiring an outside contractor to do it for them.

You can't make money doing work for yourself in the public university system.
Only when you pay contractors.
