Very low by international standards, especially for working age adults.

My reasons: Obamacare (even our socialist colleagues admit to the ability to avoid work and live off the benefits of subsidized health insurance). Also, immigration, and the underground cash economy for which these people are really "working", but given incentives for employers and employees to remain off the books, this is the end result.
