Wow, Lloyd with an early goal (less than 3 minutes in) off of a corner.
Very poor defense when a corner that is on the ground from the start goes half-way thru the penalty area without being touched by a defender.

That was quick and a momentum getter. Very nice set piece on the corner a kick.
Holy crap, Lloyd off of a free kick from just outside the penalty area for 2nd goal with less than 5 minutes into the game.

USA backed off too much in their defensive half. Julie Johnston messed up on her coverage of the attacker in the box, and after Johnston slipped the Japanese attacker one-timed the shot. Solo got her hand on it but could not keep it out of the goal.

Japan definitely looked like the better team for the last 15 minutes of the half. Ref missed an obvious handball in the box by Japan though, so easily could be 5-1.

Tobin Heath off of a pass off of a corner (think it was O'Brien; not certain), and the USA is up 5-2 at the 54 minute mark. Wow!
Watching this match, I've decided that one could do worse than Alex Morgan.
