Need a car....considering used first.....18k to 25k price range....30k or less miles......perfect 4 Dr sedan other crossoversion. any suggestions?

Well, 18-25k range allows you to pretty much grab whatever you'd like across most (common-folk) models... I agree with the bloke who cited the Mazda6... Though w/o knowing any other needs/wants you're just gonna get a bunch of people blurting out models w/o real reasons...

You really really need to test-drive a sedan with a CVT before you throw down $$$ on a Maxima/Altima/Legacy etc...

The Mazda6 is preferred (by me!) over the obligatory snoozefest appliances otherwise known as Accord/Camry... Relative unpopularity of the 6 makes it a bargain to be had...

Legacy is nice but you'll want to buy a case of 0w-20 to feed it in between oil changes...

Bought an Impreza for my daughters to learn to drive and a Legacy for my wife last year. Have owned two Honda Accords and must say that, in addition to the AWD, these have been a breeze to maintain -- and I haven't had any oil issues on either.

That said, I still love driving my '01 Trans Am WS6 and my '16 Pilot. Eldest daughter is driving my '10 Toyota Highlander Limited at VT, and younger daughter will be taking the '13 Impreza to UGA next year. They enjoy them both.

I'm on my second Legacy with "normal" oil usage of 1 quart between oil changes... My 2016 just turned 23k and has demonstrated this issue since 12k... My 2013 was swallowing 1quart plus at 75k when I turned it in...
