A local guy that I've never met was appointed to Trump's staff with the task of reducing prescription drug costs. His name was Dan Best. Some people in my 'hood were very good friends of his. He used to be an executive at CVS. He just bought a house down the street this summer. He took a job with HHS and has an office in Washington.
Apparently, a few days ago, he got up from his desk in the middle of the day and hurled himself through and out the window. Initial rulings are that he killed himself. People in my "hood think he was murdered. Interestingly, I cannot find an article stating what happened. By that, I mean the circumstances of his death.
My friends that know him are very disturbed. His family has gone "underground" and isn't communicating with anyone. This is understandable in times of grief. But this is very, very odd.... in terms of the circumstances of his death, the fact it isn't being reported, and who(m) might have a motivation for murdering him. I mean, wouldn't an executive hurling or being hurled out of a Washington DC office building in the middle of the day be "news"?
