What a peach Vicky is. Without her Freeh never could have formulated his opinion. All that garbage then found its way to the DOE.
This was a money grab by the DOE. Nothing more, nothing less. If the government investigates you in today's environment, it will do whatever it can to find against you, so that it can fine you.
Confusing that they said that at the review process initiation and prior to their final determination, which I guess is now, we haven't shown them that we're headed in the right direction in compliance. And I thought we now have everything in place for compliance. Am I reading this right? I'd like to see the letter they sent but no actual links. Anyone have a link to the letter?

This was a money grab by a POLITICALLY connected/agenda driven (& specifically "results externally directed") government entity. It is part of the PROBLEM in that it ...it MUST have known that the way it would be reported would be further "proof" of a "criminal label" being heaped upon PSU and PSU FOOTBALL (forget those persons who have been publicly tried and found "guilty" without the benefit of a trial).
The method of reporting the "fines" was designed to be "open to media spin". Just further proof of the trouble we, as a nation have, and will not speak about.... government agencies loss of foundation purpose/intent....it is now ALL about the money grab and does it look like my agency is doing "its job" to the public at large - no matter how badly, ineffectively, illegally or expensively the job is done!!
