Reporter was right in that going for 2 at end made no sense. Kick for 1 and it is a 8 point game. Fail and it is a 9 point game and game is over.
A few of Franklin's decisions were head scratchers. He seems to chase points in big games.
Also worrisome is the reliance on trick plays, which seems to indicate a lack of trust or identity in those instances.

Most on here don't care for that reporter (Dave Jones) but I think he was right to not let coach Franklin off the hook. Most reporters back down. The first half 2 point attempt I didn't agree with but his explanation at least addressed it. The last 2 point attempt- he said it was for the "same reason" - I thought he was avoiding answering the question. He made a bad decision and wouldn't own up to it.
