Same. Really not much info given. Was half thinking the portion of the video that was not working was a later edit to prevent some of the information from being public. This really was very little in the way of actually knowing what progress was made, by whom, and who was standing out.

Eh, a lot of general coach-speak but I wouldn't say you couldn't take ANYTHING away from Losey.

I thought the tidbit about Kaden Saunders was interesting - essentially, Kaden showed up "too big" and they had to completely rebuild his body for the type of athlete they want to utilize him as. Apparently by the mid point of the season, Losey started to see him making strides with his body and it translated to more confidence on the practice field. Which is really the only info we've gotten about Saunders, outside of pundits and fans speculating that he had to "put on weight" before he could make an impact. Every kid has a different path, regardless of prep ratings, and it's interesting that a slot guy actually had to get leaner prior to making an impact.

The Allar stuff was interesting as well - he's put on north of 20 lbs and "looks like a defensive end" at this point. "Durability" being the reasoning by Losey. I'd imagine Allar has the frame, arm talent, processing ability, et.c - but physically is where they need to get him up to speed prior to playing a BIG schedule.

Yes, a couple of nuggets but not really much. Years past there was much more info from these sessions. As long as it translates to the field, I'm ok with not putting the word out. I miss the detail though. Saunders may have thought he needed to put on weight before showing up, did, but didn't do it right. That's my guess.

Are the blue plates 45’s and whites 10’s? Seems like a huge range, with the first guy doing 225, and the middle guys doing between maybe 335 to 425? Tough to tell.

Blues should be 45s, whites just below are likely 35s. Then below the whites are another, smaller blue that should be 25s.

Very tough to tell as these are custom made for Penn State's gym. They could be heavier based on the style. Most competition level gyms have have 55s as the bigger plate.

For a comparison picture.
