The guy's a warrior out there.Says he's bacc.
After a second look, I think you're right.I don't think that tweet has anything to do with him declaring/coming back.
If that’s all it is he still deserves congratulations. He worked his butt off to get there, something many highly ranked kids wouldn’t do.I was confused as well. I take this (I'm baac)....as in he is back to the player he knew he could be.
I'm am happy for Lamont Wade either way. If he decides to try the NFL, then good for him and I wish him the best. I can understand his frustration from a position change. But he accepted it, came back out of the transfer portal, and made the best of it. So the guy showed his loyalty and his character. If he decides to stay another year, then I am selfishly happy. Like someone mentioned above, about half-way thru the season you could literally see his "light bulb" go off and he was playing at a much faster speed. The last 5-6 games of the year, he was arguably our 2nd best player on defense (Parsons #1).
I can not think of his name, but who Wade reminds me of is a Safety who played at Iowa about 10-20 years ago. He was originally from Erie, played at Iowa and I believe mostly with the Colts in the NFL. This guy was about 5'9"/5'10", but was a ball hawk and made up for his lack of size with just always being around the ball.
Bob Sanders?

If Wade comes back I expect Brisker to be that ball hawking safety next year. You can bring Wade up to the line in run support and play him on a slot receiver. Having Brisker roaming free will make a huge difference and as a JC player Brisker had a lot of INTs. Taylor was good the last two years, but never elite. I think a pairing of Wade and Brisker for a year has the potential to be awesome.
Please use his correct name... Ray “pound for pound” Isom.Similar in stature to one of my favorite Lions ever.
