There is more than likely a bit of Waste and Abuse in the Federal government and all they spend. That should be investigated/audited and eliminated in an orderly fashion. Making improvements along the way. It has to be noted that Fraud is different - Fraud is a crime, waste and abuse are not.
In all the hyped DOGE numbers I haven't seen any criminal charges being made for the numerous frauds we are being told of. Why are we not seeing folks being taken out in handcuffs and charged with their frauds? Have I missed all the perps being paraded into court and jail - how can that be.
The goal of reducing the federal spending by $ trillions seems to be the equivalent of a snipe hunt.
