Way OT: WC Fields night on TCM tonight, Friday

"The Bank Dick" at 8 and "It's a Gift" at 9:30, both around 75-80 minutes. Since this is First Game Weekend, I had been reluctant to post this, but what the hell, it's Bill Fields, born in Darby, like me. Both 100% Tomatometers.

I appreciate the heads up. My father-in-law, 92 years young, and I were just discussing the greatness of W.C. Fields a couple of weeks ago. My father-in-law was laughing thinking of this:

Thanks for the heads up. My favorite all time comic. Red Skelton is second.

And what a lot of people don't realize is that WC, while a great comedic talent, was also a phenomenal juggler.

Oh yeah, he was vaudeville through and through. He was like 35 when he made his first film but he made his reputation years before that as a juggler. This link is to a scene from The Old Fashioned Way, which he made when he was 54, imagine how good he must have been in his twenties.
