So we snuck in the playoffs, wow. Thanks Rex Ryan and Buffalo Bills. Not that we played all the well today, but in todays NFL, seems like, hang in there, and anything can happen. Really don't like Rex, but at least he had his team show up for a meaningless game. Gotta wonder about the Jets and QB Fitzpatrick, 3 interceptions in a row to finish the season in a must win against a non-playoff team? Sure NY media will be all over that. Obviously, we have no room to talk though, dropping that must win game against the lousy Ravens just last week.
Steeler defense barely did enough today against another second rate QB, but held in there. And the offense? Well, I'm now convinced that it's really all about Steeler's riding Big Bens arm, period. He's either in the zone, or he's not......throwing a couple picks and looking sorta little better than average, or playing lights out and looking Superstar. So we shall see, starting next week in Cincy.
I remember a situation years ago, when Steelers needed a non-playoff Cincy team to show up, and beat somebody in the last week to help us get into the playoffs, same scenario as today. Steeler players voted that year to send the Bengal players all a new brief case for not laying down. Bengals were not very appreciative, knowing they helped the Steelers. So following tradition, I think they should send Rex and Bills all a nice new man purse to thank them for their efforts today. Ha
