Finish high enough in the Big 10 tournament to get a pre-allocated spot or qualify as an at large...to qualify for Nationals? Will it be a 10th place or better finish in the B1Gs like last year with Hildebrandt? Does he need an overall .500 or better record? Wondering what he will need...
Simple, beat Spencer in January.
Where did you get the Brooks vs Hidlay footage?
That was shot at the new, upgraded training facilities. We have eyes everywhere: all-seeing, all-knowing.Where did you get the Brooks vs Hidlay footage?
Steen will be going against Kaylor on Sunday. That's going to be an interesting match-up. BK took 4th in the CKLV tournament on Saturday, but he lost a real close one to Ramos from Purdue in the semis. He got just a little out of position in the 2nd period and gave up a TD which decided the match. Other than that, it was pretty close between the two of them. He's never been to Rec Hall before, so I think he's going to be impressed with the size of the crowd and all the other trappings. I'm sure he's anxious to get this week over with.Steen could by the end of the year put together a good enough resume to snatch an at large, but as everybody has pointed out it is better to self qualify at the Big10 tournament and it is still a possibility he earns the Big10 an autospot.
To achieve the successes needed he could start Sunday.
Maintain positioning ALWAYS
High pace, head snaps, head pulls and offensive attacks.
Make the bottom man fight tooth and nail to get out, don't just release him once he is on his feet.
Get off bottom.
He no longer is the more talented bully. Make the adjustments necessary.
This weekend's match is a great opportunity for Steen. How he attacks the opportunity should be telling.Steen will be going against Kaylor on Sunday. That's going to be an interesting match-up.
