Excellent. Another tall OT type. You can never have enough of this type of kid.
Exactly. OTs and DTs are the hardest positions to recruit. Very rare to find someone with the right frame, length, quick feet, and enough football experience that you can assess college potential. It's not like safety or wideout. Most years there will be just 3 or 4 top-level OT prospects in the entire mid-Atlantic area. Any time you can recruit one of them you celebrate.
Next year, the roster will include

Raw talent offered by Miami and WVU so someone also saw real upside in this kid. Ditto Minny which seems to find pretty good 3 star kids who can block. Welcome aboard!
Had an outstanding camp at PSU this Summer and was OL MVP at a Rivals regional camp this Summer. No doubt his stock will rise as the 2019 season unfolds. A great verbal.
Not your specific reference, but it reminds me of a poster months ago, before WR Dottin verbally committed to the current class, that they were hoping to have a WR room including Jahan Dotson and Jaden Dottin.

I trust the staff in judging who can and can’t play and who they want to coach and who they can’t coach.

A kid's commitment is probably one of his most exciting moments of his young life to date. It's a great opportunity to revel in the spotlight for a bit and soak up the love on social media. No idea if he reads this site or not, but kids aren't stupid -- they know they're being talked about, and probably peek in from time to time to see what people are saying.
And, in a thread announcing his commitment, there are people like you shitting all over the kid.

Some people don’t get enough real attention so they feel the need to act like fools to at least get some sort of attention. Ignore him. He’s already proven he’s an idiot.
Oh, well, in that case what's the sense? No way I'm combing through 30,000 names. Glad you came to Pennsylvania, though. I love the state. Never wanted to leave.
Their overall reputation is not. Whether they are good or not this year is immaterial... they are considered Top 25 programs. I'll happily take this recuit and see what we can do with him.
