we haven't seen evidence of them slacking. It's gonna take a little time before this becomes a well-oiled machine. We just came off sanctions and Franklin wasn't given a fully stocked team. If we had stout trenches, we wouldn't even be flustered by all this. They have to build almost as if this were a start-up. He had to renew relationships with in-state coaches where in the past 10 or so years we weren't getting top in-state recruits. They are making progress and I'm pretty confidant that they can get the offense going in the right direction. Maybe bring in Friedgen as a consultant or some other offensive consultant maybe this should have been done last year). Not too many football coaches under 45 are "tearing it up" other than maybe Dan Mullen and Pat Fitzgerald and they aren't coming off sanctions. Neither the offensive coordinator nor the QB are gonna be comfy until the OLine is somewhat stable. Scout some top Olinemen and we can smile much more.
