I know there has been a ton of talk since Tommy Stevens fantastic spring game, and even back to the Iowa game where we used his talent to score on the jet sweep. I know back when he switched his commitment to us from Indiana was after Wimbush flipped to ND, and as many of you know, that ND had a visit planned for Stevens before Wimbush flipped, and I still believe to this day that if Wimbush did not flip, ND would have went hard after Stevens even harder. He is a hell of an athlete and would probably start for almost any D1 team. So it begs the question, and I love Trace and believe in him 100 percent, but out of any team in the nation, do we have the best and most game ready backup QB in the nation????
