This cracks me up. Everyone said prior to the game that OSU would absolutely roll Penn State. Penn State keeps it close and all of a sudden they get respect and give lots of credit to OSU. If the tables were turned Penn State would have dropped in the polls 5 spots for not beating a team they were predicted to blow out.
I am ok with OSU #1.
I am also ok with OSU throttling UM in AA.
I think OSU still wants to send a message to CFP and throttling UM will do that. They won’t get a test against the West Div champs.
Right now they are looking at the LSU-UGA potential SEC Championship as a determination if they stay #1.
I am also OK with OSU getting throttled by former Buckeye Joe Burrow and losing the National Championship to LSU.

I don't feel that bad because the NCAA stacked the deck against us with this HORSESHIT qb transfer they got. It must have gutted Franklin to see that kid beat us wearing that ugly grey and red uniform.
I think we'd be buying tickets to Indy right now if the NCAA hadn't screwed us. But there's money to be made and that's the key!!!

OSU made themselves #1. I firmly believe that we're very close ourselves, but to get to the top we're going to have to beat them. It'll come, and it's going to be a fun ride.
Sucks, but PSU was given every opportunity to at least have a nice shot to make the playoffs. I think they got plenty of respect this season and it shows by how much both Minny and OSU moved up.
I really think OSU got surprised by how good this team actually is... They are not far away at all...
Defense is there just need the offense to come along.Should be a fun ride as it looks like Psu is now among the reload not rebuild teams with quality depth everywhere.
In addition, being #1 at the end of the regular season will be critical for the CFB playoff draw. Assuming there are three top-level teams this year in LSU, Clemson, and OSU, it should be highly advantageous to be a #1 seed and let the #2 and #3 seeds play to the death.

Correction, they won the 2nd half of both those games with dominating performances. 14-7 2nd half scores, and they were not that close! Could easily have been 15-7 or 14-6. So technically, UM only has 1 loss and are ranked a little low for a 1 loss team.
OSU is surprised the team they have lost to by 3 pts and beat by 1 pt twice is good? So this 11 point loss convinced them we are close? Is this BTN reporting?
can’t disagree more. PSU is not really close to OSU. We got dominated in all phases. Our best weapon was a backup QB that we did not care if he got hurt. No real running game, could not set up long enough to throw the ball down field, a defense that could not stop the run consistently, and a starting quarterback who let the defense get in his head early in the game. Turnovers bailed us out big time.

Agree. What us really standing between PSU and being in the top 4 on a regular basis is OSU.
They have had bad losses to PSU Purdue and Iowa in the last couple years and should have lost to Maryland. But they always.msnage to rebound and work their way to the top of bear the top.
I’m okay with tosu losing to meatchicken and making it extremely difficult for any B1G team to get into the cfp....again.
