I think that it is critical that we replace our WR coach. The last two years have been an embarrassment. We have 4 star guys who have not been developed and are not getting open!!! A change needs to be made for us to reach our team's potential. Hopefully Franklin makes the right move.

I think we need another post trashing the coaches. We can never have too many fans who are more knowledgeable than professional coaches.

How did you plan work with the last three wr coaches who were replaced?

And then when the coach leaves after being traahed we need to accuse him of disloyalty. Smh.

And then trash the head coach who hired him. Not sure where we go after that.

Not sure what Franklin is waiting for
Just like we can't get elite WRs probably the same with WR coaches. Also, Hagans could be getting slack because the offense revolved so much around Warren that the WRs were not featured enough or adequately. Just speculating on why Hagans could be retained. The first reason seems weak as there has to be an upgrade out there. I can see the second reason as legitimate. Don't necessarily agree with it since the production was so pitiful but an excuse that could save Hagans' job though.

Or his wide receivers development was thwarted because of the over dependence on Warren.
You (we) blovene armchair QBs waste way too much cyberspace.

The only coach I’ve bashed is Hagans, and that’s purely based on his total failure in the primary components of his job, namely talent evaluation, recruiting and development. Can you honestly say that he has excelled at any of these?

Traditionally I'm not in favor of replacing a new coach until all the players he has recruited have been on the field but in this case you may be right.

Well, if coaches are beyond criticism, how come they get fired so often?
I’m not saying they are beyond criticism but a tsunami of criticism seems like a little much. Especially after another successful season. Plus as a nod to the great Bob Uecker, fans’ critique of actually what goes into coaching is a little like telling the ump he missed the tag from the last row in the upper deck.

So, as "fans," are we allowed to criticize "professional coaches" or not? You seem to be waffling.

open your eyes.
1. All of the transfer portal wrs had much lower #s while coached by Hagans.
2. No one here got better under his coaching
3. He was hired because he is a great recruiter. He failed to attract any blue chip talent.
4. The best way to lessen his liability is to play with 2 tight ends, Dinkins is a devastating locker and decent receiver. Adding him to the mix is better than a wr who never is a threst.

Almost every starting TE under JF has gone to the NFL. The WRs have only gone off a cliff in the last 2 years. Respectfully, I don't care if Tyler Warren is "featured." That has nothing to do with a WR not being able to get open. Frankly, if there were WRs that were a threat and could stretch the field, that would have only improved Warren's stats.

Bingo! That's exactly right.
