We need Beaver Stadium to be the loudest it has ever been on Saturday.

Everyone on here needs to be that guy that tells their section to pump up the noise. And I don’t just want noise on 3rd downs. We need noise on every play on Defense. I don’t care if it’s a noon game. Gotta have record noise on Saturday.

Just not as loud as the music at the Miami game all those years ago.

White Out energy?

The crowd will make a difference in the game. Beaver Stadium is the hardest place to play in America and that includes Autzen.

Is it me or do FOX & NVC broadcasts not pick up crowd noise as well as ABC?

Sidebar: Will be attending game @ Univ of Tennessee (Neyland Stadium) next weekend. Their fans claim they have the loudest fans. Looking forward to checking out their VOL Navy, vibe around the stadium abd inside the stadium.

Wish I could watch the game. My son plays back to back games at 11am. Just genius of Fox for putting the biggest game of the week - possibly the year- on at noon. Just genius. Sorry, but family before fans.
And if I’m a casual west coast fan, do I care that much to watch a 9am game? GTFOOH!
But hey, “BIG NOON KICKOFF!”

Record it. Turn your phone off. Tell anyone who would tell you or call you about the game what you are doing. Then watch the recording later on your time.

Ratings for FOX Noon indicate there's no issue with big games early in the day. Doesn't mean it's not annoying but how many times have to had to go to a fall wedding and missed a 330 kick. No matter when they kick its going to inconvenience some. Hell many people don't want to stay up late enough to watch the 8pm kicks on the east coast.

I'd be watching the game on my phone...done that many of times. Obviously not the same experience but....supporting your kid without missing the game.

I usually will try to to do this, but then you find yourself focusing on ignoring rather than engaging, and that’s not my style. Plus, I’ll do this with lesser games and watch them just to watch. But big games like this on delay are no fun. They are meant to be enjoyed in the moment with friends and family.

I can’t believe the ratings wouldn’t be higher at night rather than noon. But I also know they have WS baseball to contend with in some years.

I still think prime time is the best slot to maximize ratings but what I think FOX learned is if they put their best game at Noon they then get great ratings in all their time slots.
Penn State/Ohio State at noon also doesn't go against the other bigger games so less competition. It will be curious to see how our game compares in ratings with the later SEC kicks today. Guessing we'll be the highest though.

What happened in regards to the music? Sorry-I am young and ignorant. Please spill the details!
Basically kinda the first time they decided to pipe in music between every. Freaking. Play. So loud, and so amateurish, it cost psu a couple penalties and time outs.

Miami won.

That was John Sacca. We have improved significantly at QB since then.

No rooting for OSU Lando
