Weekend Upsets with WrestleStat is back for the 2018-2019 season. Sorry I didn't get one sent out last week, there WERE some good upsets...

Good stuff. The thing that jumps out at me is that almost all of these upsets happened to guys that were ranked way too highly by the algorithm. That is not a cut on the algorithm, there are ALWAYS going to be some strange things that pop out. Actually, to me it shows that the algorithm is pretty strong because you're not getting a ton of 25s beat 12s. Hardly any.

Yeah, and of those that you are referring to, I'm hoping now that these wrestlers are getting more-and-more matches under their belt, the algorithm will start looking better...ie

#4 Woodley, #5 Mattin, #10 Hagan...
