So here's the latest from another over-paid, self-serving fraud and putz President (e.g., NCAA Member Representative) John Thrasher - disgusting how he's throwing all FSU "student-athletes" under the bus when it is quite clear that the PROBLEM resides in the use of FRAUD STUDENT-ATHLETES IN THE REVENUE SPORTS most especially football players brought on campus as mercenaries to win football games and nothing else (and fraud, hypocrite Thrasher is one of the biggest beneficiaries of the revenues they generate, including fund-raising from boosters to the University via his salary and perks - no different than "bow-tie" at Ahia State before he was shown the door). Absurd to claim that the majority of "student-athletes" at FSU are not outstanding citizens of the community or that they don't understand that ADULTS have accountability for their actions and CONSEQUENCES for behaving afoul of the law! Complete bull$hit to deflect attention away from the cheating Football Program which is clearly using FRAUD "student-athlete" mercenaries putting the FSU community and student-body in danger for the debased, self-interested and self-serving purpose of winning football games so you can pay yourself more $$$ (ditto the coach he says he "fully supports" Jimbo "I don't give a $hit about your daughters" Fisher). Doubly disgraceful for Thrasher to not only marginalize all of FSU's upstanding "student-athletes" to obfuscate the REAL ISSUE here, but to then claim that the primary problem is: "Understanding that we live in a social media world, everything you do is scrutinized.” is just outrageous and disgraceful -- THAT IS NOT THE PROBLEM HERE MR. john thrasher was basically appointed by the republican controlled board of regents and has NO academic credentials at all. a friend of mine was the faculty senate president at the time who, along with the rest of the senate, constantly spoke out against this Rick Scott clone but to no prevail. goes to show what a stranglehold the right wing fascists have on the state of florida. of course the football program is out of control but it really ticks me off when the media includes the basketball team in this lunacy. leonard hamilton has always been a class act who takes care of problem cases (see for example, von wafer) directly and immediately.
