In thinking about stadiums and arenas across the country, which were the most successful in terms of wins and losses for their teams? These come to mind off the top of my head:

NFL: Past: Three Rivers Stadium, Texas Stadium
Current: Gillette Stadium

NCAA: Rockne Stadium, The Big House, Beaver Stadium

NBA: Past: The Boston Garden
Current: ?

NCAA: Dean Smith Center

NHL: Past: The Montreal Forum
Current: PPG Paints Arena

MLB: Past: Yankee Stadium
Current: ?

I’d include-

NFL- the Kingdome in Seattle, current Quest field in Seattle, old Mile High Stadium in Denver, old RFK Stadium in DC.

NCAA F- the old Orange Bowl in Miami, Death Valley at LSU, Autzen Stadium in Oregon.

NCAA B- Duke’s Cameron Indoor, Rec Hall at Penn St, old Carmichael Auditorium at UNC, the Palestra for Big 5 games.

NCAA BB - KU’s Allen Fieldhouse has to be at the top of the list.

I wasn't sure what to do with the ties, so they were just added into the total number of games divided by the number of wins, but here's what I could find for the B1G Ten.
  • Penn State: 285-72 Winning 79.83% (1960) 357 Games - Averaged 6.23 home games per year
  • Michigan: 625-150-21 Winning 78.52% (1926) 796 Games - Averaged 8.74 "" (No wonder they're #1 in wins!)
  • Nebraska: 413-124-13 Winning 75.09% (1923) 550 Games - Averaged 5.85 ""
  • Ohio State: 373-104-20 Winning 75.05% (1922) 497 Games - Averaged 5.23 ""
  • Michigan State 364-154-13 Winning 68.55% (1923) 531 Games - Averaged 5.64 ""
  • Wisconsin: 356-194-23 Winning 62.12% (1917) 573 Games - Averaged 5.73 ""

Good stuff NL15, thank you. Where did you find that info? Ties are counted as half a win and half a loss for percentage calculations btw.

There is always a winner and a loser, so all stadiums are the same.

I just googled each stadium "All time record" and dug around until I could find enough data to give me the all time record. For most I could find articles that listed the stadium's all time record up to like 2014 or 2015 and I just did the math the bring it up to date by looking at recent schedules.
