I know when I first joined this board, I wasn't able to activate my account for quite some time. Repeated requests to send the activation link got no reply. The reason? I'd accidentally hit an extra character while entering my e-mail address. *Blush*. You might double check that.
I just got off the phone with a very courteous young lady who said that the promo is for 92 days (until kickoff), and you need to use the code kickoff2kickoff when signing up.
So I googled it, and came up with the following:

I'll bet they were swamped by Rutgers fans. They see the word "Rivals" and go nuts.And just like that, it says the <bleeping> promo code is no longer valid. Go figure! Way to have your act together there Rivals / Yahoo!
I give you credit just for using the word "rebuffed". It's a perfectly good word, and yet I don't recall ever seeing it on this Board before today.
Why in the world would they limit the number who are willing to give it a test run? A certain % of folks would surely stay on. Makes me wonder if something went wrong technically.
Since you are such an important member of our little club, I'll try to drop it into some posts more often!
