When the Sandy Barbour decides to tell us.I think an approved plan will help us take recruiting to the elite level.

Approved: Sandy and CJF can show renderings tomorrow if they wanted to
Paid For: Sandy and CJF can show renderings to 1st grade recruits and hope for the best
OK, so 1st grader's future children. Not sure Rivals even has rankings for them yet.Seems you're unfamiliar with Sandy's track record for paying for things.

When will we see finalized plans for the Beaver Stadium? I think an approved plan will help us take recruiting to the elite level.

From a player perspective, PSU is behind the 'elite' facilities with respect to the football building and player amenities in said building.
The Lasch Building just went through a $14.5 million renovation. The first phase included the installation of a nutrition bar and renovations to the facility's auditorium, meeting rooms and lobby. The second phase of the project expanded and reconfigured Lasch’s locker and shower areas and provided a new hydrotherapy room. Renovations were also made to the equipment room, fitting rooms and loading dock.

Another bake sale or two will allow us to break ground ASAP.
Total Lasch project is $25mm
The money is ridiculous. What technology is missing?Actually, the renovations to date were $25 million. The last thing completed were the position meeting rooms. They are awesome. I walked through them in August. There are additional plans to spend $35 million on the Lasch facility. That includes more money on technology, redoing the coaches offices and a build out of the terrace that overlooks the practice fields.
How so? "Here are the plans for the Beav in 10-20 years. You won't be here when renovations are completed, but maybe your kids will be."I think an approved plan will help us take recruiting to the elite level.
Chairbacks will require a complete demolition of the stands. There's not enough room to fit the chairbacks into the rows. If you look at the chairbacks that are installed in sections WD/WE/WF/ED/EE/EF, there's about 5 rows of chairbacks where there used to be 8 rows of benches. This alone is a major reason for the large-scale renovations. As far as Beaver Stadium goes, the more I think about it the more I think that the best move for the future is to finally do the long-overdue rebuild of the press box to add additional luxury boxes, the addition of chairbacks, and improvements to the various concourses, restrooms, and other fan amenities. I don’t see the need long-term for the massive changes for the large-scale renovations as laid out in the master plan.
Great.
Tell me where the money came from (or is supposed to come from ) if you can.

Not to give away any confidential info, but there's a firm studying moving the stadium's location. "The move to a new locale...was proposed a year ago in the University's long range study, which was approved "in principle" by the the Board of Trustees, but the BOT has yet to appropriate funds for the undertaking."

You didn't read the article?Move the stadium a second time or an entire brand new one?
Thanks for playing along, Art. Are there any active fault lines on campus? This is going to get interesting.

I could be mistaken but the press box in the Beaver Field photo looks like what he have now with the exception of the additions which were added to both sides. Is the current central area of the press box the same structure which was used at Beaver Field? Not to give away any confidential info, but there's a firm studying moving the stadium's location. I'm not sure, but it looks like the press box was built in '49 according to this article, so it's possible.I could be mistaken but the press box in the Beaver Field photo looks like what he have now with the exception of the additions which were added to both sides.
