+ great effort by Hack.. he left some throws out there but he kept us in the game.. gutty performance. If played for Michigan or tOSU they would both be better teams this year
- OL.. bad once again.. going into the season I thought we improve but still be at the bottom 25% of the league.. we're probably better than Purdue, Maryland, Illinois, Rutgers.. so we've moved up but still a long way to go.. I challenge anybody to call plays with the way those guys played yesterday. Not sure what's worse, the interior or the edges, seems to flip on a weekly basis.. Mahon seems to play decent. Mangiro looks like a 5th freshman at times.
EVEN the game.. we had plenty of chances to win and take leads.. 3 trips into the RZ (you know the results).. ST comes up SMALL once again.. fumbled punt and KO coverage. Good effort by the team, but UM is the better team an probably deserved to win this one..they are much better than NW

RB SaSa is a stud, but it would be nice to pair him with a boring effective north-south runner.. hopefully Robinson is that guy
CJF had the team in game vs NW (should have won) and UM... Not sure if any coach could hide that OL.. Temple showed how to defense us right off the bat
TE Wilkerson can actually catch.. same can't be said for Carter (big drop) and Giseki (the entire season) Wilkerson might work into a decent player. I don't know if I've seen a group with this bad of hands at this level, there is a chance that the next 10 TE's we bring catch better than any of these guys.
SCHEDULE talk about back-loaded!!
JOHN REID will be great down the road
SPEC TEAMS still look like Special Ed.. good coverage teams need 3rd year backups running down the field.. our numbers obviously skew young
OTHER GAMES
*tOSU can still not pass the ball effectively. and MSU stoned Zeke. You beat MSU by throwing on them.. tOSU can't throw LOL. Say what you want about Meyer's greatness, but his QB routinely suck at throwing the ball. He has one natural QB and (Cardale) and the kid's eye discipline is horrible. JT and Braxton throw like 3rd baseman.
*the BIG EAST (should be called the BEAST) is loaded.. Iowa has 2-3 losses and NW 3/4 if they played in the East.
