Yes, Northwestern is missing as I figure it not to be at the top of this list of contenders. Also missing is Indiana and Purdue as both are virtually harmless. Feel free to write in Indiana, Northwestern or Purdue if you're so inclined.

Ranking:

1. Penn State

Very Distant 2. Illinois (I went there for graduate school.)

3. Listed in Alphabetical Order: indiana, iowa, maryland, michigan, michigan state, minnesota, nebraska, northwestern, ohio state, purdue, rutgers, wisconsin

Nicely done!

I would have to say it's a tie as well: PITT and Michigan.

Pitt because of my dysfunctional family reunions as a child and Michigan just because. :)

While I agree with the disdain for 5b, last I checked they were not in the Big 10.

As I got a grad degree there, I don't exactly hate tOSU. But there's nobody I'd rather beat more....

O$U, they are like the Dallas Cowboys and NY Yankees to me of the Big 10. If scUM was still winning as much as O$U, it would be a tie.

in the spirit of full disclosure, my wife (Wisconsin '86) and I have jokingly told or daughter since she was a toddler that there was only one school that she could not attend and as karma would have it, she was recruited for a brief period by UM to play lacrosse. Thank God it didn't pan out, Jen Ulelah is batsh!t crazy. She has gone through 6 assistant coaches in 3 years. Something is not right in Ann Arbor.

LOL. Lucky for you and for your daughter.

Jen was an assistant coach at FL. I believe she was there when they started WLAX. FL had nobody on scholarship, so they came up with a plan to go into the LAX hotbeds of MD, VA, PA, NJ, and NY and offer more money than the established programs could offer. It worked very well for FL. Then Mich decided to start a WLAX program, so they brought in Jen from FL and she basically tried to repeat the FL formula. I remember when she first hit the LAX scene, offering lots of $$ to recruits. She got some talented players, but a number of other players, their coaches, and their families were put off by her. The reasons they gave (when I asked what it was) varied, but they all seemed to say that something just wasn't right. Turns out those players/parents/coaches seemed to have good instincts, as Jen has burned through ACs, and not come close to replicating at Mich the success that FL had.

Votes for tOSU or Michigan are obvious because of the big 2, little 12 mantra... but this is a compliment to their programs in the end. I voted for tOSU, but it was a toss up.

Illinois is understandable because of their trying to raid our players in 2012, and I understand some may dislike the johnny come lately punks that are Maryland and Rutgers. The rest of the bunch shouldn't get too many votes, IMHO.

ahia state because they are just like every SEC team not named Vanderbilt. They cheat and don't give a shit about academics or following the rules. Their coach is Satan. They have success but no honor.

They are in town this weekend. Hope they get 4 flats.

Perhaps the question should be "Other than Ohio State, which team do you hate the most?"

No other hates for me.

To really hate, you have to be close to something. After 22 years of living in this asshole state I really hate everything about that miserable self-righteous machine down in Columbus.

The worst part is how the people that graduated from the MAC schools and D2 and D3 schools pretend they are part of the whole mess.
