I don’t think Fowler has it in him. I hate Tiger but like The Masters, British Open is a huge amount about experience and Tiger has plenty of that so I do think he will be in the thick of it. I think just like the US Open, a relative unknown is going to win.
Your title should refer to this major as "The Open".

I think Koepka will win the British Open this year. Seems like he has it all coming together.

As long as “they” keep referring to it as the “US Masters”, I’ll keep calling it the British Open.
"They" meaning the Euros. I totally agree that is annoying, just as bad as them referring to the "US PGA Championship". There is definitely an inferiority complex over the pond.
Please start an official "The Open Championship" thread. Saying the British Open is just ignorant for us that know better.
For a guy like Woods who sprays his drives, the difficulty of the roughs has a huge impact. If the roughs are short, he has a shot.
Not me, but I did score two tickets for the Final Round of The Open next year at Royal St. George's. Working on hotel and transport arrangements now.

I’ve been applying for 15+ years and got them for the first time this year (4 for Wednesday). This is after just going this past year on Monday, as my dad finally got them after being denied forever. So there is hope!

Where did you hear that? I've never heard anyone refer to the Masters and the US Masters.
On the European Tour web site the PGA Championship is referred to the "US PGA Championship". That's also lame.

Think Koepka will run away with it but I hope I'm wrong. Really want Fowler to win, but I don't think he has the chops. Seems like he's always just happy to be there.
