Why do we condense Football and Recruiting into 1 thread but allow a dozen Nassar threads?

If anything, shouldn't it be the other way around?

How about anything related to Sandusky condensed to 1 thread and anything related to MSU/Nassar condensed to 1 thread?

Because schadenfreude cannot be contained in one thread.

Because this board is full of people with chemical imbalances. 20000 posts? Really? That’s 7 posts per day for 8 years

Moderating this board is not easy, especially if the moderator has a real job.
Moderating this board has traditionally, to be honest, just sucked ass. Like it gets done when the moderator has time, if they feel like it, or not.
Moderating a board is a thankless job. Any moderation is better than none.
I agree that I would prefer stricter moderation, but it is what it is.

I will chime in....

If thisI board consisted of 90% football threads it would cut into Lions Den value. (And vice versa). It may be in the best interest of Rivals and BWI to keep a football board and an OT board like the McAndrew Board.

Yep, who is moderating the moderator?

Speaking of schadenfreude, if anyone would like some here are some links to MSU's Red Cedar board. It's beginning to look like our board about 6 years ago.

Here's one on pure outrage.

Here's one on Simon's resignation:

Perhaps they'll eventually get to the Clemente report but they aren't ready for that yet.
