Now, ISIS, to my understanding wants to make war with Hamas and Al Qaeda, too. So, perhaps we are allowing ISIS this opportunity to further weaken the region.
Let's be candid, ISIS is getting their hands on weapons. How? They don't have any factories. If THE WEST truly wanted to prevent ISIS (or any fanatical group) from getting their hands on weaponry, they could. So, why don't they? Maybe I am wrong, but I don't think Hamas or Al Quada are supplying ISIS with weapons.
The only reason I can think of is that THE WEST is willing to let these nutcases fight each other. It is Military 101 to destroy the enemies factories that make weapons and disrupt (if not destroy) supply lines to the troops. In this day and age, that would not be that difficult. ISIS doesn't possess any air superiority to prevent such an action by THE WEST.
Gangs like ISIS (and, they are a gang) can't thrive unless we WANT them to thrive. So, why is that?
