"We were laughing in the huddle. We would run the same play 8 straight times. We literally ran the same exact play 8 straight times. Guys were cracking up."

That's Wilton Speight, injured Michigan qb, on last years 49-10 win over Penn State.

They had every reason to laugh...we were terrible that day a lot of which had to do with a perfect storm of injuries, youth, and inexperience. What's even more funny is the trajectory that each team has taken since that game...hope we have the last laugh in 2 weeks.

Broken vertebrae are nothing to joke about. The kid might have been speaking the truth, which is even more concerning.

I hope Wilton heals and leads a nice productive life... It won't be against PSU.

He is entitled to his laughs. I'm sure our guys were laughing as they paraded the B1G trophy around Indy.....

not cool man. Talking trash is part of college football. lets hope PSU returns the favor this year.
But i don't recall anyone laughing about his injury. That's what the "Oh wait" was about. Easy on the self righteousnes...it doesn't work so good when you are unable to understand the simple English before you.

Of course you have a link to back this up right Gunsie? Or let me guess, you can't find it now...

I crack up when I hear his name.... Seriously?... Wilton Speight... lol... Thanks mom and dad.

Speaking of quotes after the Michigan game last year, here are a few from the OP:

"Right now it looks like a god damn miracle if we go 7-6."

"Looking square in the eye at a 3-9 or 4-8 season folks. Cannot find 4 more wins on this schedule."

"This looks an awful lot like a 4-8 team, and that is dark years territory."

"I don't see 6 wins, in fact I don't see 5 wins."

In all fairness, Hairball "snickered" at the B1G Conference during his Tuesday press conference after it happened, correctly calling out what a cheap shot it was by the Purdue defender.

It was a cheap shot, but the B1G Conference (to my knowledge) hasn't respond directly against PU (which it should have).

But in the B1G's defense, they did seem to ramp up the targeting calls this weekend, including their coveted O$U.....And for that I applaud them.

PSU players have been correctly instructed about the new targeting rules. A tip of the hat to the coaching staff.

Ok...I'll Bite.

So in your azure-colored world, PSU is going to finish the regular season 12-0? Inquiring minds are almost semi-interested in your opinions on this matter.

It's a legit quote from after the game last year. Can't link from device but just google ESPN 2016 PSU Michigan and click on game recap article.

And I wish we had Lavar right now....he would throw OKorn around like he did Bellisari years ago another SoFla prima donna..

O'Korn is from a town less than an hour from Penn State. Need to get your info correct.

You're more than "kinda stupid".

To wit,

"After attending St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he led his team to the 2012 FHSAA 7A state high school title, O'Korn chose to attend the University of Houston"

We all know that O'Korn is originally from Penna, but your response just exemplified what a collasal idiot you are.

Meanwhile, we're all waiting with bated-breath about your prognostication for PSU's final season record. So far.....chirp.....chirp.....chirp.....chirp.... from you.

its Cool...why I have mostly only been a reader on these boards since 2001 to avoid back and forth with fellow alumn hiding behind an IP address...sigh...all good

We Are!

I've been looking for evidence of any Penn State player doing this under Franklin at any time, but cannot find it. No player who has dignity or class, laughs at another team, and then shares it with the media, and if one did, he would be off the team immediately under James Franklin. As mentioned before, this quote should go on the bulletin board, right away.

Well have fun laughing on the sideline in two weeks as we return the favor, Jackass.

PSU over UM 24-10.
