Officials say at least a dozen alleged MS-13 gang members are now facing charges.
Law enforcement sources tell News 12, the members were rounded up by the FBI Long Island Gang Task Force.
As News 12 has reported, a recent indictment charged four people with the quadruple homicide of four young men in Central Islip. The indictment also mentioned an indictment in a murder back in January at a Central Islip deli.
The US Attorney’s General Office is holding a press conference at 1 p.m. in Central Islip.
