Did they show that video documentary of the guy who lived in Alaska, by himself right after the Korean War until he in his 80s? Really fascinating story.

i watched a short documentary where they found a Russian women who as a child, the parents took their family into the Siberian wilderness when Stalin took over in the early 40's. I think it was literally in the mid/late 1970s when a hunter or logger actually ran across her and until that point, she (her family had all died over the years and she had been alone for like a decade) had been living apart from any human contact since they left in the 1940's so it was something like 35 years. Literally living in the log cabin the dad had built when they walked away and without any electricity or obviously modern things. The cabin was near a stream where she got water, lived off the land for food mainly a small garden and what she picked from nature and some traps she had (obviously no gun as no ammo). It was pretty crazy.

I devour “American Experience” and “Nova”.

Aside from PBS, I have been watching a bunch of racing shows and documentaries. “1”, Fangio, 24 hour War, Grand Prix seasons 1 & 2, Senna, the Green Hell.

Actually have supported WTTW / PBS in Chicago for years. Actually watched the American Experience show on the 1918 influenza last night (had taped it a while back), some scary shit.

Have 3 shows / 6 hours taped on the US space efforts, that’ll be one of the next few nights this week.
