Michigan has lost 7 in a row to Ohio State and it's going on 15 years since they sniffed a Big Ten title. Can anyone confirm?

Confirmed, and only once since 2004. I’m predicting they go undefeated this year and would probably rank them in the preseason top 10........ o_O   ;)

And 1/2 of one national championship since WWII.

Actually, 1.5 since WWII. 1948 and split in 1997.

In 1947, they were named NCs by a number of sources, none of which were the AP so you can decide whether or not to count that one.

Bottom line is one split NC in the last 71 years.

I'm not going to believe in Michigan until I can see them not soil themselves when they appear on the same field as Ohio State.

Well, by that standard, PSU has a 94 MNC in the bank.

Michigan will shit the bed like they always do. Harbaugh is the laughing stock of the Big10 to everyone but Michigans brain dead fans

Shush, you’re gonna upset Wolve and JimJim. They’ve already concluded UM will win the college playoff once JH unleashes the wolverine.

Honestly speaking, Michigan will be good this year. However there are a few things that can beat them.

CAVEAT: All of this is from what I've read and researched. I haven't actually watched game tape of them, so I can't tell you if any of what I've read was correct, or whether it was the typical over-hype.

Their OL is STOUT on the left side. LT-LG-C John Runyan Jr, Ben Bredenson and Cesar Ruiz are legit top-half NFL draft prospects and have been starters for multiple years. However their right side is more susceptible than the left side. Runyan is also more of a RT from what I've read, but has been playing out of position because of need and was still a 1st team all B1G LT this past year. This concerns me as they can give Patterson time to hit his WRs, which we all know are pretty damn good.

That said, I think we have the DT/DE depth and most importantly skill to give the right side of their line problems. Additionally, on the back side Reid (if the second half of last year is any indication) and TCF can be left on islands with those WRs and give the left side of the D line time to get home. Additionally, without a running game, they're pretty 1 dimensional.

Army beats Michigan! Seasoned veteran Army team. The same team that took the Sooners into OT last year
