My point went way above your head. I was saying the Left will try to keep the Pelosi incident in the news and sweep the Kavanaugh incident under the radar as much as possible. Although the Kavanaugh assailant planned to kill Kavanaugh and brought numerous dangerous weapons while the Pelosi assailant showed up with a hammer to kneecap Nancy.
Totally different situation. The Kavanaugh assailant was arrested before he could do any damage. He is currently locked up and will be for many years. No one made jokes about Kavanaugh being in a homosexual relationship with his would be attacker. Everyone (Republicans and Democrats) denounced the attempted Kavanaugh attack.
Paul Pelosi was hit in the head with a hammer fracturing his skull. If the police hadn't arrived quickly it could have been much worse. The lack of condemnation by Republicans is deafening. Some have denounced it, others have ignored it or turned it into a joke.
Similar to the Jan 6 attack, the rioters only stopped when Trump, 3 hours later, asked them to stop. Donald Trump and other Republican leaders need to unequivocally say political violence is unacceptable. So far they haven't.
BTW, it is 3 1/2 months since the attempted Kavanaugh attack. You are still bringing it up, so pardon others for "still" talking about the Pelosi attack 4 days after it happed. There is also the specter of other political violence as the mid term elections approach. Sadly, Donald Trump may well have "enjoyed" the Pelosi attack.
