The newly proposed tax on unrealized gains (25%) is getting a lot of heat. Is that heat justified or is the heat coming from uninformed people and media. Some might even have an ax to grind.
Just list the items in the proposed tax:
is there a threshold on who is subject?
what is that threshhold
any other restrictions, threshholds...?
Will you and/or your family be subject to the proposed tax?
What sources did you use in doing your analysis?
I know for a fact that I or no one in my family would be required to pay this new tax. I'd even hazard a guess that none of my friends would be either.
