Patrick Byrne announced he was resigning as CEO because, under the direction of the FBI, he had an affair with a Russian spy as part of a plan to get Trump. He did so on two Foxnews shows, the later with Martha McCallum. It was a strange, bizarre interview that had me perplexed and had Martha wondering where to go with it.
He named the Russian, said he flew to several countries with her, broke off with her, worked on another FBI investigation on a crooked politician, and then the FBI told him to get back with the Russian. Then he claimed he figured out it was a scam to get Trump so he played the FBI. Guy seemed a bit wacko.
Yet he claims he had solid evidence that he was directed by people in the FBI, including Peter Strock. He went on to say that at least three higher ups he referred to as X,Y,and Z but wouldn't name. He said there was WH involvement but he said he didn't want to infer that Obama himself was involved. He did say that he has met with AG Barr and given him all the info he had.
If he proves out, this could be huge. But I fear it is a guy in a nervous breakdown....or just plain nuts.
