Ecuador hired Sharon Stone through a US PR firm to take part in an Anti-Chevron press campaign put together by the Ecuadorian government. Stone did a last minute no-show saying she had no idea the purpose of the trip was to hurt Chevron and/or to support the government. It is not clear what she thought they were paying her $350,000 for.
Is this how its done? Are all of these "stars" bought and paid for by big government or big business?
The subterfuge and lies are outrageous. Then people wonder why I say not to trust ANYONE any longer.
