Nobody on bus hurt. Tire blew up from the fire and injured a State Trooper trying to put the fire out. The bus was carrying the offense. No link, just saw it on the tube.

The Rutgers offense hasn’t caught fire in eons.
Wishing the trooper well. Since nobody else was hurt I have to say..... We all thought Rutgers football was a dumpster fire but it seems it's actually a bus fire.
Trying hard not to joke about this. God help me to refrain from giving in to temptation.
Also I just heard flyover tomorrow. Four F/A 18s.
It won't be the last disaster involving the Rutgers offense that ends in a blow out this weekend.

As cold as I am along with the hate mongrel in me don't want to see anyone get hurt.
On my way home from work I saw four busses with a police escort and figured it was the Rutgers team. I thought that it was odd that they took busses to State College and it was so late that they were going through the Bloomsburg area. This was shortly after the fire.
Thoughts and prayers to the PA Trooper for a full and speedy recovery.
Looks like three missing or sheared lug nuts laying on the ground. Perhaps they were removed by the Trooper before he was injured.

I know they took busses out to the PinStripe Bowl, but that was so they could send more players to experience it. I didn't realize that they took a bus to Rutgers. They fly everywhere else, I guess I just assumed they flew to Rutgers as well.
They don't have the gear to do any kind of work like that on a bus. That's a call-out.

4 1/2 hours. I'm 2 1/2 hrs from State College (Poconos - exit 284 / rt 80) & 2 hrs from Rutgers.
I have a friend who lives in Matawan & I pass the campus on my way to visit her.
I guess to fly to Rutgers means flying to Newark. Just boarding a bus and going might be more convenient when you consider time getting through airports, bussing between airport and Piscataway.
Guessing the tire blew when he was using an extinguisher on it. Tires like that can go over 100 psi so there is a force when they blow
