I've noticed a definite Leftie lean to CNBC for quite a while now. For the "channel of record" for the American economy and supposedly the free enterprise system, they are anything but supportive of uninhibited capitalism. And their "woke" programming and guest selection are right out of the Leftie playbook to change the world (see their Davos coverage for example)..... puke....

But, today, on two separate programs, they went way over the line.

The first time, Tyler Matheson was interviewing Mark Zandi (a leftist economist). And, he started his question with "I don't mean to be a Biden Administration apologist here, but...." and then he proceeded to lay out (word for word) the Left's excuses that the rampant Biden induced inflation was everyone else's fault but Biden and the Leftists in Congress. In other words, he did exactly what he just said he wasn't going to do. Next, he launched into a series of "softball" questions to Zandi, all along the lines of "why are the American people too dumb to realize they have it so good economically and any problems they 'perceive' they are having are NOT Biden's fault AT ALL. Surely, the Biden people can 'educate' these dummies before the November election". (You could almost hear him thinking, "please, please. please").

They also had Steve Liesman (appropriately named) on that segment and he gleefully joined in on the cluster-fvck of the truth. The only possible explanation for this is that once again the disease of Leftism has overcome logic and common sense. CNBC has in-house experts (Rick Santelli, etc.) and other renown business leaders who come on there (at controlled intervals) and explain how Biden has fvcked up the economy, but Tyler F'n Matheson truly thinks it was the TRUMP tax cuts and other "needed" stimulus spending and COVID interrupting supply chains were what caused it all. Biden actually fought to keep it in check.... he actually said that.....

The second time was during the after hours show. John Fortt had WH economic advisor Jared Bernstein on and (you guessed it) proceeded along the exact same line of "softball" questioning. Almost word for word. Now, call me a cynic, but when this kind of crap happens, I don't buy for a minute it's all a weird coincidence. CNBC is totally on board with Biden and the Left on matters relating to businesses and the economy. They aren't even trying to hide it now.... not even a little bit. Well, it shouldn't be a big surprise.... they do have NBC in their name and apparently in their DNA.

I switch off of their channel whenever they get too woke or Leftie to bear. Unfortunately, Bloomberg is just like them and Fox Business goes too far the other way. CNBC has the better tickers, summaries and business updates, so it's a tough choice to make. I mostly watch CNBC with the sound down and turn up the sound if it looks like something I can actually stand to listen to. This is really sad.
