No email updates, nothing. They aren't staffed for this situation and it's not surprising the whole thing is a mess as it's the first time they've done this
But still a mess. Wonder how it's going for ND, Texas and OSU

I was just about to post this. The Beav is simply hosting the event. Everything else is the NCAA. and the NCAA is so well run....Who is controlling it? I just came across this tweet from Tengwall.
It almost seems like these games are more for TV than for the attendee; it's like Studio Football.I was just about to post this. The Beav is simply hosting the event. Everything else is the NCAA. and the NCAA is so well run....
This is also their first rodeo with the 12 team playoff. So the NCAA is making it up as they go along with four stadiums that never hosted a playoff game before.
Aren't they all for TV? Why do you think there were rule changes to make games shorter? Once upon a time, kick-offs were at 1:00pm and the clock stopped to reset the chains after every first down. Any out of bounds play stopped the clock, not just in the last two minutes of the half. These were all changes made to accommodate TV.It almost seems like these games are more for TV than for the attendee; it's like Studio Football.
Yes, but the powers that be seem to want the environments for these playoff games to be antiseptic and balnd. I mean, if you were good enough to be awarded with a home game, why should the road team be treated any differently than a road team during the regular season; you don't see that in the NFL Playoffs?Aren't they all for TV? How will everyone know when to “MAKE SOME NOISE!!”Who is controlling it? I just came across this tweet from Tengwall.
Probably makes sense due to proximity of both teamsRumor is Tennessee fans and brokers got the OSU pre-sale code and bought it out. Expecting a ton of orange and unfilled seats, but a sell out.
Who would have believed ND/IU would be the hottest ticket? $1k for some seats.
I know a guy who owns an AA baseball team. Shockingly, he told me that everything between the lines is hands-off. He has nothing to do with field conditions, players, umpires, team transportation, and ticket sales/revenues. The stadium is owned by the city. So he gets food concessions and parking. That's it.It almost seems like these games are more for TV than for the attendee; it's like Studio Football.
Also curious about schedules with the band , cheerleaders etc.. I mean this is all during Xmas break..crowd willHow will everyone know when to “MAKE SOME NOISE!!”
good questions. also game day music and atmosphere. While we'll have a whiteout, I am not sure we'll have the same treatment for pre-game and things like the slow/fast wave. I understand SMU will have an entry video with potential pyrotechnics. This is something we've not seen for home games. Also curious about schedules with the band , cheerleaders etc.. I mean this is all during Xmas break..crowd will
Likely not be nearly as loud or intimidating with such few students..
Got my "Action Required" email on 11/14.No tickets showing on my account anywhere. On hold for hours and nobody answers.

ThanksThe good news is that Tickpick has a lot of tickets, all in, between $104 and $120. All in meaning, no additional fees for taxes. That is the price that hits your CC.
if you don't go very often, go to the Hills shopping center and take the bus. they keep an open lane for the busses and you'll probably get from the Hills Shopping Center to the Stadium in about a half hour. It is less than $5 round trip and free for Seniors. Thanks
My band kid reports back to town on Friday the 20th for one day of rehearsal. They’ll be repeating one of the shows from earlier this season. Also curious about schedules with the band , cheerleaders etc.. I mean this is all during Xmas break..crowd will

I don’t need transportation, need a parking pass and tickets. Seems like a glitch with the season ticket holders. well, if you park at hills and take the bus in, you'll have a good experience without the price or tailgating opportunity. Its a choice.I don’t need transportation, need a parking pass and tickets.
