The Lions are playing really well right now. Haleigh had an off day hitting but but on a real show in blocking last nite. Simone is peaking, Gorrell is playing her best all year right now. It seems they are ready for the tourney and the at home shutout has to be more motivation than intimidation. I would hope they don't need a pep talk on that match.
BTW, the game is Thursday.

Nebraska beat PSU in the tournament last year and they beat us soundly at home this year. They probably have the advantage in this game. PSU has to play it's best match of the year on Thursday.

Serve receive and setting have been much better lately. Great improvement.

Nebraska played us on their home court last year in the tourney - was a huge help. I think we rise to the occasion this year.

Should be a great match.....looking forward to it. Too bad these two teams aren't playing in the national championship match.

Just looked through the media guide, Huskers are 20-10 all-time against the Nittany Lions and are 9-4 against PSU since joining the Big Ten and have won the last six in a row in the series. That last stat kind of surprised me, hadn't realized Nebraska has had that much success recently in the series.

The PSU team that beat MSU last night looked ready to play for a title. I really only get to see them on TV but that was the best I've seen them look in the matches I did watch. Granted I think Nebraska will challenge them more, but it does look like Russ Rose has them ready to compete.

No doubt. Was at that loss at home. Team much improved since then. I believe they have their mojo back.
