i like listening to yacht rock radio (soft rock from 70’s and 80’s) on Sirius XM 70 during the summer. I actually think I’d listen for an hour or two if it was an endless loop of Brandy by Looking Glass, but was wondering what songs the McAndrew friends would include on the all time yacht rock playlist.

And, go!

Listening to Yatch rock they play a lot of Ambrosia. "Your the only woman " the one played most often.

Wow! I really love this thread! I'd like to add a few groups from my high school days in the 70s
Paul McCartney and Wings
The Eagles
America
Carole King
Jim Croce
Lobo
Boz Scaggs
Chicago
ABBA
Billy Joel
I could go on! Oh...........................also
The Spinners, The Stylistics, The O'Jays, etc.

This is already a staple of Yacht Rock Radio based on the fact that is is played like 20 times a day. Listen too long and you'll eventually hear the same songs over and over (which I guess pertains to all SiriusXM stations).
Not really for Sirius but certainly correct for Pandora. For the most part I did not like what they played on yacht rock radio, so I turned it off

Yacht Rock Radio where the only Log ins you need is Kenny.
Yacht Rock just when you thought it couldn't get any smoother it got more smoother.
Michael McDonald is the King of Yacht Rock. Anything by Michael McDonald or where he is singing background.

This is yacht rock, disco and R&B aren’t in this genre

Would this qualify as modern Yacht Rock? Nice little band from New Jersey with a good beachy vibe.
