OK, granted, not much to go on, but in a smattering of contests in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Virginia, Ohio, and elsewhere, with the country going to hell, the voters effectively said, we don't care...just don't mess with our precious abortions!

This with Senile Joe polling in the high 30's and large majorities saying his policies suck on every front.

The Clueless Masses are too dumb to understand it's not the senile puppet in the White House responsible for wrecking their country but rather his puppeteers, his Party, and its sicko ideology.

Therefore, when they vote for a Dem-Mediacrat, any Dem-Mediacrat in any place for any post, they are voting for open borders, looted stores, urban hellscapes, illegal drugs, transgender insanity, high inflation, prohibitive interest rates, endless wars...the list goes on. Nobody gets on the Party's ticket without consenting to that platform.

As for abortion, it's a big-time political loser for the GOP, as many predicted after Roe was overturned, for a number of reasons: A) Democrats control the media and therefore control the narrative which features, as in Kentucky, 12-year old girls claiming they were raped but were denied abortions; B) well-intentioned but dumbass Republicans rushed out to put draconian restrictions on the procedure in many states following the Court's decision; and C) after decades of cultural conditioning, the public's moral center of gravity has moved significantly in the wrong direction.

I'm a fervent pro-lifer but also recognize reality: goodness, decency, and self-control cannot be grafted by legislative or judicial action onto a citizenry ruled by relativist moral values of entitlement, self-indulgence, and counterfeit "rights." The ship has sailed...and it ain't returning to harbor anytime soon.

So what does all this mean for 2024? Could a failed, senile President actually be wheeled back into the White House for an encore of his disastrous first term? In a sane world, no. In the world we now live in...don't bet against it.
