Have either of you gotten tacos from the Violet Taco truck parked in back of the Star Bar?

Holy hell. I just had the Smoked Brisket Taco. I think it may beat my previous favorite - Torchy's Trailer Park (trashy style)

there's a little old lady at the corner of Pleasant Valley and Caesar Chavez (in an orange trailer)

that makes the simplest, meanest, cheapest tacos. crazy good.

Guacamole and tomato & Serrano salsa. Simple and extremely good.

The Trailer Park Taco I referenced from another Austin joint Torchy's has Fried Chicken, green chiles, lettuce, pico de gallo, and cheese with Poblano sauce. If you want it "trashy" like I like it, you substitute queso for the lettuce. It's Taco heroin

Hahahahahahaha! The term "whack" needs to survive - it's up to us who remember its glory days to keep the flame alight.

And I'm in total agreement - soft Taco all the way. And I'm a flour guy generally as well
