OK, enough about no thread view...we get it- many people miss it. Let's list some things that we actually like about the redesign. Maybe this will open the eyes of those who hate it and get them to come around.

Personally, I like the fact you can actually upload avatars from images on your computer rather than needing a URL for said images. I also like the alert I get to messages I've posted to.

Automatic quotes when you reply to someone so its easy to see who you're responding to. It also shortens the quote automatically so that it doesn't take up too much space. So you can still see who's replying to whom and still get chronological order. Its like the best of both topic and thread views without that bastard known as hybrid.

Nothing....I want the old format back. I don't use these new features, I just want a concise way to read and post.

I will give it some time, but I'm an old dog. In thread view it was just so easy to get a quick synopsis of what was going on.

I really like that when you go back to a thread that you've already viewed, it takes you to the first new post that you haven't seen and not babk to the beginning of the thread. I think that's a great feature. I also like how it identifies on the first page which threads you are active in. TOS has had that feature for a while and I always felt that that was really lacking here.
