The released pics were ok- but after a while I get bored seeing vague pictures of mountains and plains from too far away. Supposedly it will take close to a month to send back all the pics it took of the planet/ dwarf planet. For now it just looks a lot like Columbus- lots of red with no sign of intelligent life.

Actually it will take then about 12 - 16 months to get all the data from the flyby down. But who's counting.

Yeah, it seemed quick when I read the article the other day but 16 months seems a bit long.
