Both teams with unexpected leaders at qb.

Both teams lacking depth (albeit, for different reasons).

When Zack Mills replaced Matt Senneca (remember him?) even JoePa had his reservations. But, Mills thrived. 2002 was a great season.

I think we were snake bitten in 2004. Also, I think the hits took there toll on Mills.

Sure, McSorley has only one year under his belt. But, does anyone here think the 2001 OL was any better than the 2016 OL?

Would Mills do better or worse if he qb'd this 2016 team? Would McSorley do better or worse if he qb'd the 2002 team?

My two favorite qbs are: Tony Sacca and Zack Mills. McSorley is really shining, though. I watched him, here, in Jax in the Taxslayer Bowl. I was impressed. He reminded me of Mills when he got his shot

I look forward to watching this kid the next few years. I think his best is yet to come.

Mills was a totally different QB after he injured his shoulder against Wisky in 2002.

Mills best receiver after 2002 was Mark Rubin....let that one sink in too. Mo Hump was pretty legit until he was no more tho.
