“Oweh says no way!”

Oweh is an edge rushing OLB for Baltimore. It's a different position than his DE tech he played at PSU. We used him for containment more than rushing. Also, nobody played good during our covid stifled season. Missing Parsons didn't help him either. We can speculate, but I don't think he ever got out of first gear in '20. He sat out games late, at least the final game. Draft position seemed to be protected.

As somebody else mentioned, he's still blossoming as a football player.

Some say training and working with players before they blossom in the NFL is a gift. I don't say that but some do. Yes siree.

I liken it to the Michigan kid Ojabo who I think came from the same HS. You can't not recruit these guys because they won't be ready until late year 2 or 3. That's still pretty fast compared to most.

I think the issue is recruiting only this type. Issac, Vilbert were next in line. One got hurt, the other was rotational. We relied on a transfer and 3 converted LBs to handle DE duties with Vilbert after Issac got hurt.

WFAN's Kim Jones said on the air that for those who attended PSU's pro day and didn't come away impressed enough with Oweh and Parsons are an embarrassment to their organizations and should find employment outside the NFL.
