Great defense for the Haekeyes, but offense hasn't done much.
Love their OLine....they are legit. But we will beat them!
Pretenders if they can't muster more than 173 yards against the better teams on their schedule. Not every team will turn it over 4 times to them.
They’re getting an awful lot of hype for beating a bad Iowa State team.
I don't think IOWA has any Wr's that will scare PSU. PSU should beat Iowa by 10 to 14 points.
Pretenders...yes they beat Iowa State but didn't even gain 200 yards. Overrated.
Iowa and Penn State are very very similar. in fact Clifford reminds me of an Iowa quarterback. Don't know why, he just looks like one of theirs
Great for Iowa I hope they keep rising as does PSU. Should be a battle in October. When was the last time Iowa was ranked that high? When has PSU ever visited Iowa when both teams were top 10?
We have more tough games in the first three weeks than Clemson has all year.
In all fairness, Clemson did play the greatest defense in the history of college football in week 1, so not surprising.

The absolute shocker for me was that they appropriately dropped Notre Dame four spots after their second miserable performance in a row, despite squeaking out two wins. About time.
I'd be shocked if ND doesn't drop 2 of their next 3.
Yes, overrated, but so is everyone else. They've had the hardest schedule thus far. They'll be undefeated when we come to town
Not to mention beating a bad Indiana team. Credit where it’s due - Iowa beat 2 ranked teams to start the season…but I seriously doubt either of the teams they beat will be ranked by the time November rolls around.
In a few weeks, I think Iowa’s schedule gets exposed as a fraud. I think Iowa State is very overrated. TBD about Indiana. I don’t know how good Auburn is - they haven’t played anyone. Wisconsin is legit
Politely disagree... iowa state has plenty of talent and a very good QB that met up with a very good D. I expect iowa state to be in the mix. As for indy... get back to me when they learn how to spell lol.

I kept hearking back (does anyone use the word hearking anymore? lol) to "breaking away" and the fans/cheerleaders singing Indiana, Indiana we love you... and thinking how cool it would be to have them sing it using the new spelling!! Oh what a garbled web that would weave...
Indinia will lose in Happy Valley this year. Payback and oh yeah they are a far more inferior team to PSU.

It's been a long time since I've seen the polls do what I'd consider the "right thing." They virtually flip-flopped oregon and osu. Not that long ago osu gets dropped to maybe 6th or 7th and oregon moves to right about the same.. and not necessarily above the team they beat.

You can only beat teams on your schedule. If they happen to be ranked at the time you play them, good for you! Rank right now means virtually nothing. Stay withing striking distance (top 15) and keep winning. None of the polls count in the end, except one.
